About Malmaison Brasserie
Malmaison likes to style itself as ubercool and we not only agree, we would also add ubersexy. Downstairs in the Malmaison Hotel in Clerkenwell, the Malmaison Brasserie is beautifully chic and contemporary with mood-enhancing downlighting and a lively atmosphere.
The menu is modern British, again with the emphasis on modern. Try starter of malmaison eggs benedict, then perhaps something from the grill like grilled whole black bream with preserved lemon and tzatziki with sauce vierge, and pud of banana iced parfait with caramelised banana.
The wine list is very strong and the service very good. This is wonderful dating, anniversary, or impressive business entertaining.
Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation for groups of 6 or more) and no-shows will incur a charge of £10 per person.

The Malmaison Brasserie at Charterhouse is a really cool place. Food, service and ambience were very good, but the size of the mains were serverely small. I'd order the burger which was the right size at a reasonable price. Had a great bottle of English wine (Chapel Downs) at an OK price.Review
Personnel was very kind and quick; always there but invisible. the food was excellent. Royal truffle tooping all the time. My personal favourite... Would like to go again with a larger group than two as well.Review
We had a good, but not excepptional, meal at Malmaison Brasserie. The place has a clubby feel and was quite buzzy with Christmas party people. Prices are on the high side.Visitors
