The restaurant was pleasent unfortunatly very over heated, by the end of the main course we just wanted to get out.
My partner had the fish and cous cous salad, not very nice.He followed with the lamb shank which he said was delicious.
I had the soup which was very filling followed by the mixed kebabs.the lamb was horrid , the salad was smothered in olive oil which ruined it .My main was dissapointing. However it was beautifuly presented on a morrocan patterned plate

Maghreb Moroccan Restaurant is an enjoyable experience but nothing out of the ordinary, and it probably doesn't peak off compared to the rest of resturants on offer in Islington. The portions were generous and the food tasty but not as flavoursome and eye popping as I expected

Maghreb was average, I don't think we would go there again. It was not busy at all for a Friday evening. The food was okay, a little on the greasy side. The waitress did not write down are our order and as suspected forgot on of our side dishes.

With its bright red lanterns along the ceiling, Maghreb has a warm, authentically Moroccan feel, without being over the top. Equally, the food is subtly brilliant, with fresh high quality ingredients. Wine is nearly all Moroccan. It was expensive and not to my taste. Service was excellent - cheery and helpful but unobtrusive. We were a bit squashed in our table by the window but at least one side of the table could people watch on Upper Street in front. Very pleasant evening overall.

Maghreb was nice enough although I think it was ridiculously overpriced for a number of reasons. First, the menu was extremely limited, and the food was OK, not fantastic, the decor was slighty too commercial for my tastes compared to other Moroccan restaurants I've been too. The service was friendly but the waitresses made a lot of mistakes with our order. All in all, £50 for a dinner for two at a below-average restaurant felt like highway robbery. I do not recommend
