Located on the waterfront in Green Park, Lsq2 is just behind Madejski Stadium and next door to the Ecotricity wind turbine, a short hop from the M4. So there are no excuses for missing this relaxed bar and brasserie featuring local produce, seasonal menus and modern European dishes with an Australian twist. From bread to truffles, every single thing is home made. Signature dishes include seared ostrich carpaccio with wonton taco salad and wasabi mayonnaise, and Aberdeen Angus steaks aged for 35 days then char-grilled, pre-cooked weight is your choice. Our 2nd visit to LSQ2 lived up to expectations - this time with extra choices from a special Christmas Menu. Again the food was delicious and beautifully presented, service friendly and relaxed - made for a very enjoyable evening. I'm sure we'll return again in the New Year!!

We expected high expectations of this restaurant because of the reviews we've read. No childrens' menu available. My husband ordered steak. There was one table of 10 there already. We were told they had no more steak knives!! Asked for medium to rare. Steak over overcooked! The turkey was very dry and not enough gravy. We were asked "how was the meal". We should have told them but we were being too polite!! We were disappointed.Visitors
