Lotus is more of a club than a restaurant, and they wouldn't let us dine with TT until 9.30pm. Food was OK but a bit pricey, but the service was good.

Lotus was excellent and interesting pan asian cuisine. Good value. Hint - don't order too much the portions are VERY generous - the braised lamb was perfect with perfect little chapatis. Excellent cocktails too

Very much a place to go to while in New York, but very definately a club first and a restaurant second. Great wines, but food a little too fussy. Also, would be nice if you could see what you are eating.

The Lotus was great : food excellent, cocktails amazing, waiters & door staff friendly and met some very intresting New Yorkers in the Club in the basement - would recommend it to anyone

Lotus NY is a club first and a restaurant second, but if you're looking for some where to eat before hitting the dancefloor it's really not bad. Food is better than some "stand alone" restaurants and service is excellent. The cocktails alone make it worth a visit!

The food at Lotus was great and the waiter attentive. Great atmosphere with cool music, though it got a little loud later in the evening. Overall, a great dining experience. Would definitely go back.

Lotus is a nice bar & restaurant, so you think they could afford to have proper lighting. The lighting is REALLY poor in the restaurant. Some of the front of house staff believe that this is the hottest place in town, so be ready for attitude! They love to turn people away, so bring a printout of your reservation. Having said that, the food & drinks were great & for those of you looking for great vibes, great hip hop & RnB on a sunday, this is the place to be.

The food was great, a good variety and very tatsy. Value for money was good as the main courses were a good size. the Tom yam was a bit too spicy...even for me who loves hot food. The service was good...very polite and froendly. The restaurant turned into a great club after. Tjis was one of our best nights in NYC
