About Londinium
Situated by London’s foodie mecca, Borough Market, Londinium restaurant is a smart, cool modern British restaurant in a very happening area of town. The décor is perfectly suited to, well, suited diners just over from the City, or for any smart casual occasion. The red suede upholstery, dark walnut floors, fresh flowers, sparkling crystal and crisp white linen nicely fit the historic London Bridge Hotel. The modern British menu includes inventions like starter of parmesan basket with artichoke heart and avocado with English mustard sauce, main course of veal chop with grain mustard and spring onion sauce with mushroom flan, and pudding of chocolate pyramid and mango coulis. Very international wine list mostly in the affordable range, but with a nice line in champagnes.

Londinium was a great retreat away from the hustle and bustle of London Bridge just before Christmas. The atmosphere was relaxing and service first class - the food was great also, apart from the dessert which failed to live up to the previous two courses. Would definitely recommend this restaurant!Review
The restaurant was qutie deserted and the food was not very good - the fish was not fresh. I would not recommend this restaurant.Review
The reviews of Londinium were really positive but unfortunately our experiance didn't quite meet these expectations. Positives were the ambiance and the maitre'd who was excellant. Negatives were quality of food and waiting staff who all seemed to be inexperianced (started clearing the plates before 2 in the party had finshed their mains!). May well have been an off day.Visitors
