The loft lounge was amazing! the food was lovely and the service excellent! we had a party of 30 people there and everyone had a great time! The only slight let down were the toilets, but who goes to a restaurant to use the toilet!!!! Overall 10/10!

loft lounge was the perfect start to a great night. The waiters that served our table were very friendly and couldnt do enough for us. the surroundings are great. It was busy but you could still talk without having to shout. The food was very nice and not expensive. Perfect all round

We eat at the Loft quite regularly so booked through Toptable to try the launch of their new menu. We both started with the crayfish which was simple but excellent. My partner had the gammon which he thought was first rate. I chose the Venison en croute. Which came with chocolate ice cream and a warm chocolate liqueur. After the intitial shock and feeling of 'are they taking the mick" I enjoyed it thoroughly and would recommend it not just as being good food but also as a dining experience. Go!

As the name suggests, this is place has a big-city loft feel throughout, that reminiscent of many New York and San Francisco eateries. The crowd is a mixture of fashionable people of all ages. There is a vibrant bar area, a relaxed lounge and a cosy and intimate dining room. The decor is a mix of classy and urban funky. The menus are inovative and the portions are plentiful, but most of all the presentation and service is spot-on! The staff are perfectly attentive yet not overly fussy. Great!

Loft lounge was a great place to meet in central B'ham. It was a quiet thurs lunch time, but the service was good and not overbearing. Starters were good, but the stir fry duck was swimming for its life in hoi sin sauce - bit too much!

Of the 4 of us who dined, I think I had the worst meal by fay. A very bland creole chicken with rice, which tasted like tinned tomatoes and packet rice. The Aioli for starters was excellent though. The service was very friendly though and it is a lovely restaurant. I would have expected more people - we were the only people in the dining room. Toilets pretty dire and only 2 ladies which would be rubbish if it was busy.
