About Les Trois Garcons

What kind of London restaurant attracts the likes of Liz Hurley, Donatella Versace and Madonna? A genuine one-off. Les Trois Garcons is a handsomely converted pub, easily identified on Bethnal Green Road by its flaming torches. Inside the restaurant is pure theatre, the opulent dining room decor falling over itself with stuffed animals (mais oui, that is a bulldog with fairy wings), sparkly crystal chandeliers and all sorts of antique idiosyncrasies. Les Trois Garcons is a bit like being inside Salvador Dali's brain. The Anglo-French food is equally stunning. Duck breast stuffed with black truffles, cannon of lamb with a curry and chocolate sauce, and halibut with spring pea purée, shimji mushrooms, grapes and tarragon jus taste as exquisite as they look. The beautiful staff deserve praise too, for their warmth and knowledgeable service.

Les Trois Garcons requires a credit card to confirm all bookings. Absolutely nothing will be charged to your card unless in the event of a late cancellation or no-show. Cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance of the booking will be charged at £25 per person.PPlease be aware that there might be a 2 hour time limit on you table as the restaurant operates 2 sitting timesOn Friday and Saturday evenings there are 2 sitting times - 7:30pm and 9:30pm.

Les Trois Garcon is still my favourite restaurant in London. For the sheer opulence and ridiculous decor and ultimately to the consistently outstanding food. A once a year type treat!

We had dinner at Les Trois Garcons on Saturday night. The food was amazing but pricey and we were disappointed by a number of our choices not being available due to being 'sold out', particularly the desserts. Far from being apologetic, the waiter was rather blasé about it and when we got our bill he had even managed to charge us for one of the desserts which was not available! Despite this we thoroughly enjoyed the food and the atmosphere in the very unusual surroundings.
