About Leonis Latin Cellar

One of the oldest Italian family-run restaurants in Manchester, Leonis Latin Cellar doesn’t just stop at the boot of Italy. Embracing new influences to go with their Italian flair, Leonis also offers a range of Spanish tapas as well as some Latin American favourites to their expansive menu. Sourcing the best ingredients for their dishes, all of Leonis steaks come from prime Argentinian beef, their pasta is freshly made daily, and their pizzas are the traditional variety. Their tapas menu is perfect for sharing with a few friends over the extensive wine list, and most bottles are under £20 making it brilliant value. With friendly family-style service, it’s also wonderful for families.

We went to Leonis Latin Cellar on Saturday evening - very relaxed atmosphere, the food was well cooked although a little pricey - only downside was the service, we had a 40 minute wait between starter and main.

Went for a meal on a Saturday night (8:30) at Leonis, the place was packed, even though I'd made a booking I still had to wait for nearly 15 minutes to be seated. But once sat down you really feel like you're in another country, the atmosphere is nice and there is a good selection of food which is reasonably priced; 2 mains, swordfish & chicken skewers, side of potatoes and a bottle of pinot grigio including service came to £40. Would definitely visit again.
