About Le Cercle - Lille
Le Cercle restaurant in Lille centre in the charmingly-named, green Square du Petit Quinquin couldn’t be more typically French if it wore a beret. The bleu awning stretches over rattan chairs on the pavement. Inside the ambience is cosy, decorated with classic bentwood bistro chairs, white table linens, mirrors, fresh flowers and walls the colour of nicotine. The menu, too, is exactly what you’d wish from a French brasserie – foie gras de canard, home-smoked salmon, braised camembert with salad, frites and cornichons, chocolate mousse – as well as dishes typical of the region like potjevleesch, a classic chicken or rabbit terrine, all renowned for their quality and authenticity. The menus are easy on the pocket and more than one stag or hen night has started here and gone on to greatness. Le Cercle is a gem.

This is a small restaurant, with a very friendly husband and wife team running it. They could not have been more helpful, and were wonderful with the children too. The only downfall was the wait for the table, even though we had booked. A very simple restaurant, but a good find.Review
A nice little French Bistro serving authentic Bistro cooking. Very friendly staff at Le Cercle and not disappointed with the food especially the L'Escargot and a delicious French pudding of Creme Patisserie and meringue!Review
Excellent welcome bythe owner at Le Cercle who bent over backwards to help. The food was well presented and original. A cavalcade of fantastic flavours The Orgasm of Chocolate was superb and the 1 kilogramme of steak took some devouring The scallops were delicate and very tasty This restaurant should not be missed on any visit to LilleVisitors
