Depsite a table of 30 lads on a stag do (worst nightmare) the service was relatively good and noise not too overpowering. The one problem that needed addressing was the toilets, dark & dingy, no locks on some and not in a good state - ergh! Overall had a very nice meal and good cocktails in the bar afterwards, great night.

Restaurant: Las Iguanas Date: 7/9/07 Had a team meal for 9 that was a big hit. Started off with caprinhas (bit too much ice) and spiced rum mojitos at the bar which are good way to kick things off. Service was really excellent, and the restaurant was surprisingly quiet for a Thursday night. Ordered sharing tapas platters to start along with nachos and calamari whih disappeared quickly. Vegetarians in our group had plenty to choose from. Fajitas and salmon salad got good reviews.

Las Iguanas is a fab place to share a lively meal with friends, there was definitely a party atmosphere! Whilst our table wasn't quite ready we didn't mind watching the bar staff efficiently throw delicious cocktails together for us to drink while we waited. The food was amazing, they do offer things like fajitas and nachos but the spicy Brazilian lime chicken with rice and plantain was "to die for" and I highly recommend it!

Staff at Las Iguanas were brilliant and enthusiaitic and extremely helpful and the cocktails are fantastic. The food was good and arrived very quickly. The shared starters was great value supplemented by a couple of other delicious dishes. We all has Paella and it was excellent, a little small and arrived faster than one would expect such a dish but whatever it was good and tasty. We were there quite late but that was not a problem. Highly recommended for a great night out.

Las Iguanas provided an excellent dining experience. We went on a weeknight, so it wasn't packed out. The wait staff was knowledgeable and friendly but didn't hover. We went to celebrate my husband's birthday, and they gave us a free dessert unexpectedly as well. The food was lovely - we would definitely go back!

I had previously eaten at Las Iguanas in Nottingham and been disappointed with the quality of their steak. I was not disappointed at Las Iguanas in Leeds. Before 6.30 pm there was a 2-for-1 cocktail promotion. I chose a 'Cana Royale' which was beautiful - dry, fruity and bubbly! I chose Ximxim as a main course. This is Pele's favourite apparently, and very nice too. Strips of chicken in a creamy tangy sauce, with a crisp side salad. Served quickly and with a smile. Well worth a visit.

The staff at Las Iguanas could not have been more accommodating and kind. Depsite the size of our party [9 + a baby] we were given a choice of where to sit and nothing was too much bother. The food was excellent, generously portioned and reasonably priced with some unusual options outside the normal 'mexican' fare. Highly recommended.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
