We were promptly seated on New Year's Eve, had excellent wine, starters, dinner. Atmosphere was really nice, waiters were attentive. Could have enjoyed another pitcher of water and it should have been noticed that our pitcher was empty. Great place, will recommend it and return again.

Lasan does Indian food with subtlety. The fish moilley in particular is highly recommended but also they are very adventurous with vegetarian dishes - the stuffed marrow was really georgous!

As one of Brum's top rated restaurants listed on Top Table and as a fan of Indian cuisine, Lasan seemed a perfect choice and we were not disappointed! The service was excellent; of a high standard without being pretentious. The food was sensational; the Goan lemon sole and the smoked lamb fillet were sublime. The mains (dhuna gosht and chicken chattinal) were also flavourful and subtly spiced. It was rounded off by a quality wine selection. Lasan was a delight and I recommend it to anyone!

We did the 2 courses for £10 offer at Lasan's but then got tempted into deserts as well as starters. Overall excellent and highly recommended.

I've been wanting to try Lasan ever since I saw the fish on their menu. Went there last minute on a Wed. Well done to toptable for getting the reservation across with less than an hour's notice. Started with the chicken tandoori salad. The chicken was moist and perfectly done. Things started going downhill from there. It took about 20 minutes before our mains came. The fish was mediocre. The noise factor in the restaurant was bad and the mains average at best. Service was commendable though.

Excellent service and food!! Waiters were very attentive! Shame the toilets (which were very clean!) were done steeper stairs. Difficult with older/disabled diners. Food was mouth watering! Although I found the okra slightly too cold when I ate it.

After first hearing and tasting Lasans food at taste of Birmingham, I decided for my birthday dinner to try the resturant. One thing that stood out apart from the food was the service, I couldnt of wanted for more, my need was catered for without me having to ask. All staff were attentive staff helping with pronouncing the dishes an advising side orders to accompany them. If I fault one small part was the parking which wasn't great as there were few spaces close to the entrance

As always Lasan has outdone itself. beautiful food relaxes atmosphercis surroundings and all for £10 for 2 courses. What moe could you ask for. I recommend the fish samosa#s they are out of this world.

There are better indian restaurants out there and better value for money. Good for entertaining clients
