About La Rueda Restaurant

La Rueda restaurant on London's Tower Hill is the pretty, fashionable little sister of the three established La Rueda restaurants you already love. With al fresco tables overlooking the Tower of London and Tower Bridge – you've seen this view on postcard racks – this La Rueda makes the most of its remarkable location. Inside, the restaurant is a vast, bustling enterprise, with a see-and-be-seen wall of glass that takes in London's mad activity outside. The core values of La Rueda have landed here intact: Spanish tapas so authentic it makes expats weep nostalgic tears, family ownership and care, smart and stylish décor, and live music from time to time to crank the ambience up a notch. La Rueda now serves the new modern Spanish cuisine like starter of Brandada de Sardinas or Huevos a la Flamenca and main courses like Fideua or Fillet Steak Navarra but not forgetting the favourite tapas like grilled sardines, chorizo in wine, jamon Serrano and main course of paella. The all-Iberian wine list includes some unusual wines to sample. Thursday is salsa night and they have live music on Friday nights.

Please note that this restaurant requires 48 hours notice on cancellations and may charge £10 per person for late cancellations.

Opening hours:
Mon - Sat 12pm - 11:30pm

Not the place to go for a romantic dinner. We went for a romantic dinner to celebrate my partner's birthday, however clubbing music was so loud and with drunken Christmas party people on the background, it was not really any of that. Food is good, but quite expensive and staff quite clumsy as well.

La Rueda, bad food, bad layout, toilets a long trip to make if you have had too much wine (3 sets of stairs) but the service was good and were very helpful. wouldnt return here though.

The food was great, the waiters were slightly inexperienced. We were given a Xmas menu and were unable to choose from the normal menu which I wasnt advised about. I had also asked if there was going to be live music which I was told there would be, there definitely wasnt. Great venu but perhaps not during the festive season.
