About L'Arôme

L’Arome restaurant in Paris’ Golden Triangle a short toddle from the Champs-Elysees is not only a very fine bistrot, but also a breath of fresh air in a part of the capital that is filled with either high-end dining or quick-fill tourist canteens. L’Arome, under the care of patron Eric Martins (formerly of Guy Savoy, Lucas Carton and the French air force) and his wife, is a beautiful, warm restaurant in tones of taupe and coral with high ceilings and Murano lighting, perfect for both business lunches and relaxed dining. New chef Thomas Boullault offers a seasonal menu of refined, inventive cooking, dishes like green asparagus with smoked salmon and lemon and vanilla marmalade, and pan-fried beef fillet with tarragon and salt-crusted beets. There’s a tasting menu, a pretty irresistible lunchtime formule and the option of shavings of black truffle on many of the dishes for an extra supplement. Excellent wines and thoughtful, attentive service.

Upon arrival, please inform the restaurant that your booking was made via toptable.

A little off the beaten track for tourists, but well worth the 3 minute walk from the Champs Elysee. The food is fantastic and certainly worthy of a *, try the Beef for two. Also the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Valet available; as with all good Parisian Restaurants. London wake up to this please!!. This restaurant probably best suited to dinners for two rather than big groups.

L'Arome is an excellent restaurant in Paris' golden triangle, off the Champs Elysées. It is smart and relaxed (what the French call 'bistrot de luxe'). The service is attentive, the food delicate and the atmosphere very pleasant. There is also a good mix of locals and trendy tourists. Try the degustation menu (there are two on offer) which will give you a good idea of chef's skills. Very good wine list too and affordable (compared to London prices). Definitely worth a visit. AD

Well worth a visit. Michelin-star quality and presentation at surprisingly low prices.
