About Lanes
Lanes near Liverpool Street, serves up superlative modern European cuisine as well as reassuring English classics. It’s a big hit with City-workers who flock here in the week for swift or more languid meals. The mainly organic food is beautifully presented, and service is outstanding and unobtrusive. Sample the extensive wine list (50 wines, 10 champagnes), or head to the bar – a venue in its own right - which also serves food.

Lanes holds two AA rosettes and was voted by Harden’s readers as ‘Best new Restaurant London’ in 2005.

Lanes called last week to invite me back as an existing customer to see their refurb and 5 year anniversary relaunch. I hadn't been in a while as work had been hectic but took and old client with me for fun. Food was really impressive, service quick and charming and nice to see the owner in working hard too. Overall back to former glory - on my list of lunch venues! 10/10

I went to Lanes again recently after being impressed by Jimmy's. It has had a very cool refurb since my last visit and the food and service have also gone up a level too. We had a fantastic bottle of wine with lunch at a very good price, and my partner found choosing her meal very difficult as she wanted all of them! We will definitely be going back, given it's great location to her workplace in Bishopsgate.Review
Half price at this restaurant was incredible value. The food was very tasty and well presented, service was excellent and the decor very tasteful.Visitors
