About La Clef des Champs

La Clef des Champs restaurant is one of Brussels’ favourites. Down a narrow street off the Place du Grand Sablon, in one of the city’s irresistibly charming districts, this intimate, romantic restaurant has a large terrace outside where, if weather permits, you can complete the illusion that you’re in the south of France. Run by the charming Bouillots, monsieur cooks and madame greets you at the door. This is authentic Lyonnais and Provencal cooking, changing seasonally. Try ravioli of crab in light curry sauce, cassoulette of ris de veau with port and mushroom jus, or enjoy a quite incredible cassoulet. The wine list includes some lesser-known labels that deserve discovery.

Please inform the restaurant if you are running late. Your table will be kept for up to 15 minutes if you fail to show on time.

On arrival, please inform the restaurant that your booking was made via toptable.

A credit card is required to reserve a table for 7 people or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. La Clef des Champs was a great experience - the element I enjoyed the most was our charming and convivial host, and the friendly waitresses. The second course took a little long to come but the restaurant was packed out, and lots of people arrived at the same time. I would recommend the pike with sliced almonds - delicieux!

La Clef Des Champs was our first oversea booking vis toptable. it was a family run resturant, 10mins from the grant place, nice and friendly, highly recommend the dessert but the steak was average, complimentry chocolate box (two pieces) was sweet, 3 course + bottle of wine ended up about £90, seems fine: )

An enjoyable evening and the filet steaks were excellent. The service veered between extremely attentive and not quite attentive enough.
