About La Caricatura
Fancy blowing £150 on pizza? The house speciality at Mayfair newcomer, boutique pizzeria La Caricatura, comes topped with Canadian lobster and Sevruga caviar. Not that you need deep pockets to eat here – most of the masterpiece pizzas are under £10, all created in a hand-built, wood-burning oven that reaches the ideal 500 degrees. Bestsellers among the non-pizza dishes are the seafood pasta where you choose the pasta, and a very nice grilled seabass with lemon sole. A local business crowd fills the tables every day for the great value £15, two-course lunch. Though formal, La Caricatura is staffed by thick-accented Italians who’ll welcome you even whether there for just a drink or for the famously grand pizza.

Nice Italian pizzeria - restaurant that plays the upmarket theme. The pizza was a real one, with fresh ingredients. Overall a good place to change for more traditional restaurants that you can find in the neighbourhoodReview
la caricatura serves pleasant italian food in a very central location. the malfatti were great, the napoli style pizza pretty good and the deserts excellent. it is a little pricey for what it is (prob due to location). the service was comical however with the wrong wine arriving, bread not arriving, one pizza was wrong and tea and coffee cold (machine was broken). they rectified everything with a smile however (a free pizza and limoncello). the manager took everything in stride. good atmospereVisitors
