Manchester’s super stylish Kro Bar and Kro 2 have become leaders on the local bar scene, so it’s no surprise to find them followed up by this, Kro Piccadilly, which concentrates on the cuisine side of things. Just like its sister bars, Kro Piccadilly is resplendent in Scandanavian design – modern, colourful and just how you wish your flat looked after a trip to Ikea. The bar vibe is still there with all the noise and bustle you could ask for but what we’re really here for is the nearing. We haven’t often come across Danish food on the streets of Manchester but here it is – herrings, meatballs and all. Should the Medister Sausage not take your fancy there are more standard options and amazing Danwiches (that’s a Danish style sandwich to you) to prove it’s not all pickled fish round here.
