About Kitsch
Kitsch restaurant in Amsterdam: groovy food, plus disco atmosphere equals fab experience. Some people say it’s like walking into a scene from Michael Jackson’s Billy Jean video. Or Saturday Night Fever. Set on several levels, Kitsch’s décor varies from clean white walls and fuzzy sofas with fuschia pillows to darker, sexier colours with fuschia pillows. Comfy banquettes, statement lighting, camply hip service, and a party atmosphere all come together into a place that’s perfect for pre-clubbing or all-evening madness. They’ll serve a singing birthday cake and drop confetti from the ceiling or offer you something from the Betty Ford Wine List. There are intimate corners for two or thigh-by-thigh seating elsewhere. The kitchen is open late, serving sublime dishes like libido-enhancing ‘Pussy en potatoes’ or oysters with frites in salad, main course of Kitsch burger with bacon, onion, mushrooms, and parmesan cheese with three sausages. Soap stars, glorious gays and lots of beautiful people make Kitsch a second home.

Good, quite and warm place in a kitsch atmosphere. Good with friends as well as your partner. Menu a little bit to much simple but the meals are good with a reasonnable price/quality average. We love sweets offered with the bill.Review
Went to Kitsch for dinner as part of a weekend away in Amsterdam and had a great time. Although the menu is quite limited, the quality of the food was excellent. We both had oysters for starters and they were big and fresh. The tenderloin was cooked to perfection and we still managed to squeeze in some deserts. The service was good, not fast, but in line with the feel and vibe of the restaurant. All in it was a great dinner and I can highly recommend Kitsch when next in Amsterdam.Review
Kitsch was all we read about - and more! we were the only ones in on a Sunday eve (unusual) but still the waitress was happy and smiling and the food was perfect. We had the menu of the day - very good value and large portions. Crayfish/asparagus starter were to die for, the veal was so tender, and my tuna was cooked to perfection. Chocolate Slutpie was def. 'death by choc' but what a way to go. The music was great, and the restaurant was lovely. Def recommendable for all aspects - esp the food.Visitors
