As usual Kerala Bhavan did not disappoint. The food was well prepared and the service good. Excellent value for money. Highly recommended! MN

Although a regular eater of Indian food, I always come back to this restaurant - it takes the premium. Croydon is now vying with Tooting as 'curry capital' of south London and this restaurant is in the forefront.

Great dosa at Kerala plus all the usual. The staff make you feel as if you are in India. Also the chick pea dish was really tasty. We also found you can customise the level of spiciness of the dishes. This place is not glam but cannot be beaten for value and has a certain sweet charm.

Visited Kerala Bhavan on a saturday evening with friends none of us had been before. From the outside the place looked rather doubtful, but the food was wonderful. Very authentic and a change from the normal type of curry menu. Good value for money too. Will certainly recommend it.

Kerala does not disappoint. We had a quick lunch a la carte for £20 for 2 incl drinks and service. The dosas are as good as you'll find anywhere though the chicken filling is not up to much. Stick with vegetarian.

Simple Indian restaurant. Nice meals but nothing overly impressive. Somewhat too much incense being burnt. Food good value for money. Decor needs to come out of the 80s.

Great food! We had the masala dosa, which was the best I'd eaten in years. The other dishes were just as good. Kerala Bhavan is well worth a visit you will certainly not be disappointed. We have told many of our friends about our wonderful find. M.N

Kerala provided 7 dishes,a pint of Kingfisher and 2 glasses of wine for £25 inc service. The samosas, spinach dal and pooris were excellent ; the rest decent. Certainly a cut above the average Indian in this ptice range.
