Ken Lo's has a Winter warm ambience that was a pleasure to arrive at. The service was excellently attentive without being obtrusive. The food itself is well done traditional chinese fare yet a was marginally disappointed that there was not much to distinguish this from many other Chinese restaurants through different presentation or choices. Particularly when the bill is likely to come to over £100 for a set menu for 2 including a bottle of wine!

Excellent food and very large portions. I particularly recommend the Capitol spare ribs as a starter. Soft shelled crab also delicious, but I must report that the scallops were disappointing.

We went for a meal to Ken Lo's Memories of China - Kensington for our anniversary and had a superb meal. The staff were very attentive and couln't do enough for us. The meal was different and very fresh and we thoroughly enjoyed the evening. I would recommend anyone to go there.

Ken Lo's Memories of China - Kensington, fed us well in excellent surroundings. The service could have been a little bit more cheerful and they should consider offering a choice of teas (perhaps Silver tips)

Excellent food, quite busy and buzzy, we particularly liked the Sichuan monkfish dish. Prefer A-la Carte to set menu, it's possible to order a decent amount each for the same price.

ken lo's memories of chine. I tried this restaurant because it had a rating of 8.5 . We had the set banquet costing £39 a head starting with a bottle of prosecco. The food was truly dire, soggy bland and tasteless -one dish turned out to be smoked chicken deep fried and coated in a stale tasting batter. It really was plate after plate of tasteless gloop covered in what looked and tasted like bottled chinese sauces. Truly disappointing.

Memories of China remains a calm oasis in the heart of London where the food is excellent.
