To be fair I visited for lunch between Xmas and NY so not a busy time - we were the only people in so there was zero atmos. Having said that the service was very poor considering they only had to manage one table! I wouldn't bother going back to find out what it was like on a busy night.

Cozy spot in a great location - very handy for the Albert Hall. Service very low-key but efficient and welcoming. Food very decent. A minor gem

Lovely ambience and wonderful prompt friendly service. We went to Kemps Restaurant for dinner and it was a great night out, even with a 7 month old baby in tow - never too busy nor ever uncomfortably quiet. The main course was a little disappointing but desserts were delectable, try their fig tart if it's still on the menu. Pelham Hotel itself, where this treasure resides, is delightful so visitors to the country or indeed London, should definitely try it out.

Kemps was absolutely superb. Beautifully decorated, great ambience, excellent service and great food. I would go back there any day of the week!

It was very quiet, especially for a Saturday evening. However the food was good, and the service excellent. The staff were very attentive and helpful. The food isn't cheap, with 2 courses and wine coming out at around £45 per person. Overall though, it was an enjoyable relaxed atmosphere and I'd recommend it.

Excellent little gem of a restaurant. Excellent atmosphere, great food, service a little slow and wine a little pricey, but the set menu was a great deal. Highly recommended.

Good food in a cosy atmosphere...rather like a country house hotel.

Nice enough restaurant but the food was quite unimaginative and a little bland, although well cooked. The decor is very clean and crisp but we were the only diners in there on a Thursday so very little atmosphere. There is a bar which is part of the restaurant and some people were drinking there but still lacked ambeiance. The set menu is good value but the drinks will bump up the price considerably.
