About Kazbar
Step inside Kazbar in Oxford and you'll find yourself inside an exotic escape designed by renowned restaurateur Clinton Pugh. From the rustic beams and vintage tiled floors to the antique furniture, retractable roof and atmospheric lamps – Pugh has infused the restaurant with more souk-chic than you could shake a snake charmer at, and Kazbar specialises in tapas inspired from kitchens in the south of Spain and north Africa. The restaurant has a superb wine list, and popular dishes include the Manchego cheese marinated in spiced olive oil served with quince jelly; spicy minced lamb with houmous, pinenuts, chilli and herb oil; and the Galician lemon and almond tart for pudding. Don't miss the stellar fig and vanilla daiquiris. This restaurant only takes bookings of 8 or more

Review
Kasbar is unusually and beautifully decorated although reasonably pricey for the small portion sizes.Review
The atmosphere is the best part of Kazbar. It is very eclectic and a great place to go with a group for drinks and a few bites. However, even for tapas, the portions are quite small and overpriced, so don't plan to have a filling meal unless you're prepared to spend a lot. They also charge per portion of bread. Go for the experience, not a great meal.Visitors
