Kai was an amazing restaurant. The veg chinese food there was one of the tastiest I have ever had! it was very pricey though, and our bill came to about £130 for two of us including drinks, but it was worth it!

Disappointed that they do not have Plum & Orange Sauce Chicken anymore and the coffee was awful Still have to pay for it. Other than that food is excellent especially the parcels of prosperity. Service is not as good as it used to be. there wasn't much atmosphere considering it was chinese new year but still a classy environment. This would not put me down for going tho.

The Kai Mayfair was ideal for the particular guests froim New York. One would not go there frequently because for a considerably lower expenditure one could eat equally good chinese elsewhere in London.

A bit greasy but delicious food - best Chinese food in London aside from Hunan in Chelsea. We ate in the large private room which was very nice and the service was brilliant as well. Very overpriced.

Food was very authentic especially the drunken chicken...tasted the original chinese herb 'tong kuai'. never tried anything so authentic in London before. HIghly recommended if you are willing to pay. Also go for the tofu with crabmeat and scallops sauce. Mega yummy!

Had a pleasent anniversary dinne. This is the second time we have been here for dinner. The food was again excellent. The roast duck was the best I have ever eaten. Service seems to have suffered compared to 2 years ago but is stil reasonable.

Kai restaurant serves high quality food in a posh setting. The cooking is expert and the flavours are intense. Unfortunately, the prices are just too steep... I mean, they're outrageous!
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
