About Just Oriental
This is the funky basement sister of Just St. James, the Peter Gladwin glamourama restaurant. If you have ever heard a restaurant described as 'buzzy', I guarantee that this will be in the dictionary as an example. The food is a mixture of different oriental cultures and is delicious and well cooked. The specialty is the seafood tempura which is so good that perhaps even Japanese eaters will ask how its done!

Great care and attention was given to our party by Sarah at Just Oriental. It felt that we were looked after very nicely indeed. The food was just right for the size of the party and the courses were brought out right on time. The choices for the mains were varied but covered all of the tastes of the group. All in all a very relaxed evening, thank you.

Just Oriental is cheap and cheerful for Mayfair, but the food is hit and miss and the service is slow and a bit absent. I do go back here every few months to see if it will be a better experience, but sadly, I keep being a bit disappointed.Visitors
