About Irati
Just off the leafy Ramblas, Spain's most famous street, and its heaving throngs of humanity, you'll find Irati Taverna Basca, a bastion of authentic cooking. You'll be greeted by a mile-long bar with belting ambience, piled with pintxas, a smorgasbord of tapas-style bits. You take a plate and munch away, charged by the number of toothpicks you've amassed. In the rustic dining room with its half-timbered and brick walls, there's proper table service. Try dishes like seabass filled with ratatouille, wrapped in a crepe, then grilled and baked. The txacoli wines are poured from above the waiters' heads to aerate properly. Enjoy the show.

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at Irati. Great ambience and excellent service throughout. Black pudding starter and the anchovies were both very highly praiised. We had a really fun night and would definitely recommend the experince.

Myself & my husband had a fantastic 1st Anniversary meal at Irati, the service was great and the food very tasty. It is expensive but worth it for a special occassion.Review
Irati in Barcelona was great. Small restaurant at the back of a buzzing tapas bar. Good food although beware the starters could easily feed two! and avoid the pork which although was lovely with interesting rosemay ice-cream was served almost rare. Would recommend.Visitors
