About I-Thai @ The Hempel
The decor almost, but not quite, eclipses the food at what must be one of London's most stylish hotels. However, the unusual fusion of Thai and Italian works, providing elegant dishes that start with the best ingredients, cooked perfectly well and presented dramatically to satisfy all the senses. The atmosphere is calm and restrained and friendly.

I-Thai was a cool place to check out. The food was interesting, with some creative entrées; the décor was very modern and cool but seemed uninspired.

Intimidating, unwelcoming decor clashes at I-Thai with fabulous food. Menu is mainly Thai, the Italian-fusion influence having perhaps been all but lost over time. Service was surprisingly slow.

I-Thai serves fantastic food in a romantic, minimalist setting. Only half-full on a Saturday night, which is a shame. Wine list is being changed over, which meant many options were not available, and it took 3 goes to get the bill correct. Those glitches aside, would go back as this is a lovely restaurant.Visitors
