About Hotel du Vin - Tunbridge Wells
The historic spa town of Tunbridge Wells with its burgeoning bar scene is home to Hotel Du Vin, the second of the celebrated hotel and restaurant chain. Set in a glorious 1762 sandstone mansion, the restaurant is as sumptuous as the rest of the spa hotel with a garden terrace offering unsurpassed views of Calverley Park, perfect for those warm summer evenings. The contemporary menu uses the very finest ingredients to produce attractive, mouth watering dishes accompanied, of course, by a selection of the excellent wines which have made the Hotel Du Vin chain so successful. I was hugely disappointed with the meal at the Hotel du Vin in Tunbirdge Wells, I have been here several times and usually go once a month but the quality of the food was terrible. The potatoes seemed to have been cooked in the morning and left in the oven to stay warm for hours, there was no choice on the roast lunch as to rare or well-done. The vegetables were also pretty poor.

Hotel du Vin is my favourite restaurant venue in Tunbridge Wells. It once again fulfilled expectations of superb food, wine and service. Will definitely return...especially when someone else is paying!Visitors
