About Homage at The Waldorf Hilton
Homage at the Waldorf provides an elegant setting to eat, drink and socialise from breakfast right through to late evenings. It is designed to be relaxed, glamorous and with its unique position on the Aldwych, a little theatrical. Homage serves classical dishes, as well as some more contemporary favourites. The wine list is predominantly old world European and like the food it is both accessible and affordable. Located in the heart of London’s West End close to many of London’s main theatres, as well as being easily accessible to the City, Homage is well positioned to offer many different customers a diverse, all-day dining and drinking option.
Homage incorporates the Grand Salon - a restaurant, the Patisserie and Bar, and is open from morning to late at night. The stunning “jewel box” Homage Patisserie at the Waldorf Hilton features an exquisite range of cakes and pastries made fresh on site daily. Outside terrace is open for al fresco dining during spring and summer. Flexibility is the key, customers are able to pop in for coffee and pastries, a glass of wine and a salad, or enjoy a three-course meal.
A credit card is required to secure a reservation for groups of 6 persons or more, if there is availability - this is simply to secure your booking, absolutely no money will be charged to the card except in the case of late cancellations. Late cancellations (within 24 hours of the reservation) and no-shows will incur a charge of £10 per personThe kitchen closes at 10:30pm.
Please note that on Friday & Saturaday nights there is a time limit on all tables

This place needs a kick up the behind, particularly at these prices. I asked to order in the Homage bar only to have to take my guests and drinks menus through to the restaurant ourselves, where we then waited an uncomfortable time for service. Food was good, but... Since when has mage tout been a seasonal vegetable in this country (leaving aside global warming). One suspects that there is the 'we are full because we are the Waldorf so why should we bother?' factor. Could do better.

Despite a glamorous setting and friendly staff our dinning experience at the Homage was disappointing to say the least. I had high hopes for a beautifully cooked meal but instead was under whelmed. My starter, the smoke salmon was pretty tasteless, my skate was overcooked and chewy and the cheese selection was 3 hunks of brie which had not long been out of the fridge and therefore, tasted of plastic. There were however, 2 redeeming features, a heavenly chocolate pudding & a tasty Chenin Blanc.Review
The meal that we had at the Homage at the Waldorf Hilton was disappointing, limited wine list very poor service, and two deserts were off the menu. It was trying to be a "European Cafe", and it failed Would not eat at Homage again.Visitors
