Any wannabe Yankee Doodle dandies will love spending an evening at Henry J Beans in Manchester’s Printworks development. Slap bang in the middle of the ultra modern Millennium Quarter, the Printworks is a figurehead of Manchester’s status as England’s second city. However, step inside Henry J Beans and you’ll be transported across the Atlantic to a Chicago sports bar where you’ll find baseball on the big screens and plate sized steaks on the menu. This is the perfect party place with space aplenty, a buzzing atmosphere and a varied clientele of young locals in for a long night and families dining pre-cinema along with the odd tourist for good measure.

The food was good and the service quick and cheerful. However the restaurant is right next to the bar area so if you are looking for somewhere you can have a meal and a chat this isn't it. The music was very loud and everyone was talking loudly to make themselves heard. It's a good place for a quick meal after a cinema visit or before a night out but not for a special occasion.
