About Hellenic
Modern, bright, and enormous fun, Hellenic is a Greek corner restaurant run by the lovely George, and his family. Accompanying the blue and white décor, are 1950s black and white photos. Get a real taste for George’s wife’s delicious homemade cooking, the speciality being Mezedes which, includes ten cold starters and ten hot main dishes - fantastic value at £14.50 per person. Naturally, a robust retsina or Ouzo are the recommended drinks or you can try specially selected wines from Greece. They will go down especially well on Friday and Saturday nights when a bouzouki, guitar and an accordion are played live, creating a wonderfully warm and buzzy atmosphere.

Was a small place, I ordered a greek salad and got some lettace and dressing. For a vege is not a great place.

A good place to stop for a meal en route to the cinema or theatre. Good food, good portions and good prices, but lacked the real greek atmosphere. Maybe we should have stayed for the musicians !Review
Excellent food, fresh, well prepared and cooked. The grill is out of this world! Appetizers are normal size, entrees are huge! Live music downstairs on weekends, great ambiance. I'm definately coming back.Visitors
