About Hatchets
Middlesex’s Hatch End has one notorious former resident – the original queen of cookery herself (no, not Delia), Mrs Beeton. And the world’s first celebrity chef would undoubtedly be a fan of Hatchets, a family friendly neighbourhood restaurant where the emphasis is on good, home cooked food and welcoming service. The classic surroundings – dark wood furnishings, white linen, attractive art works and careful finishing touches such as tiny vases of fresh flowers on each table – are timeless, offering an atmosphere which suits any guest and any occasion. The spirit of Mrs Beeton clearly lives on in the kitchen of her former residence, where European and international specialities are created.

We had a very enjoyable evening - the staff were friendly and courteous.Review
I dined with a friend at Hatchets at Hatch End last Saturday. This was once the home of the famous cook - Mrs Beeton and she would not have been disappointed at the quality of the food or service. Neither were we. My friend's Sea Bass was delicous and so was my veal. Although we declared ourselves too full for puddings we managed, respectively, bread and butter pudding and stawberry and cream filled pancake. Yummy !! We will return.Review
Hatchets stands out from the crowd due to the quality of the food they source. The asparagus pancake is a treat for vegetarians. However, don't sit at the back of the restaurant under the air conditioner, unless you like a shower!Visitors
