About Hat and Feathers
Clerkenwell’s handsome Hat and Feathers restaurant brings a touch of period glamour to modern fine dining. Comprising a traditional pub downstairs and a more formal dining room upstairs you won’t need to look any further for a perfect night out. Grab a drink on the designer-esque terrace before heading to that classically styled restaurant to enjoy modern European food at its most delicious – Aberdeen Angus fillet, guinea fowl with white bean cassoulet, roast leg of rabbit cleverly matched to the ideal wine by the thoughtful staff. Then it’s back down to the gaslit bar for a digestive... after all that hard work you deserve it.
Please note credit card details will be required for group bookings of 6 and over to secure your booking.Please give 48 hours notice for any cancellations between 6 and 14 people or a charge of £20 per person will apply. For private rooms a deposit is required it will be non-refunadable if cancellation notice is less than 10 days.

Very good. But Whereas the Top Table offer says '50% off total food bill' we were given this only on the starter and main course and charged full price for side dishes such as vegetables. Not a serious complaint but not what the offer claims. Otherwise very good.

The Hat and Feathers is based on the first floor above a loud pub. The food WAS extremely good and well presented, however the service was very lacking, taking an hour between our starter and next dish, we did not recieve any bread until we asked for it. We found the food sparse and both my girlfriend and I were still hungry when we left a whole 4 hours after we entered. In fact we felt like leaving half way through. Overall I would not return especially if looking for a romantic evening!Visitors
