Whilst we enjoyed the meal we had at Harrogate Grille on new years eve, the fact that a large party arrived with extra guests who "had to be accommodated" resulted in us having to move tables between courses. This did spoil the evening as a whole but will not deter us from returning at a less commercial time. Its a good reminder of the arrogance of some customers who see the hospitality business as something that can be treated with very little respect and believe money can buy you anything!Review
Good atmosphere but on the end table we felt as though we were in a corridor (and there was a bit of a draught from the door). Very pleasant service, no rush but attentive whenever we asked for something. Food was excellent. It would have helped if the waitress had pointed out that the monkfish wasn't served with any veg or potatoes, as we had to order these after the food was delivered (although they arrived very quickly so it didn't spoil the meal). Enjoyed and would go again.Review
The Grille in Harrogare is most welcoming and very stylish. The menu is impressive with a strong emphasis on locally sourced produce. Our starters were delicious, moules mariniere with the most delicious crusty bread and duck, fig and honey salad, the mains though were very ordinary and lacked the flavours that were promoted on the menu. The restaurant itself is attractive, candles on tables, low lighting and plush dark furnishings. The service was faultless, the prices and food average.Visitors
