About Guanabara
The true heart of Brazil is beating to an irresistible rhythm in central London and you will be dancing to it, we guarantee. The smart, chic bar, Guanabara is authentic in every detail, from the regional cuisine, to the chefs, to the very hot serving staff, to the amazing drinks. Cachaca drinks are flavoured with fruit juices flown in from Brazil. Try dishes of cassava chips, Bolinho de bacalhau (salt cod fishcakes), Manjubinha(whitebait marinated in lemon and coriander) and pud of guava cheesecake. Then get out on that huge circular dance floor with its live bands or DJs and dance til late.
Please note this restaurant does not take bookings on Fri & Sat nights and charges a £5.00 cover on Sundays.No bookings after 8pm on any evening.

Recently went to Guanabara for a work night out. Had a fantastic time there. Really good mix of people, live music, amazing drinks and the staff are friendly and efficient. We tried most things on the menu and shared the plates between the table. Everything tasted good although admittedly most of us were more concerned with trying out the drinks!!

We took the Cocktail Master class and it was so much fun!! The staff were absolutely fantastic as well, got everyone so involved and were dancing with us until the end of the night. Cannot recommend it more!Review
Guanabara is great for big groups. Not ideal if you actually want to chat, because it's quite loud, but it's a good lively atmosphere so it's fun for a party group. Also the music is great- the live band were good fun for a boogie after dinner! I'd go again if it was a party, but probably not otherwise. the food wasn't amazing.Visitors
