About Grill on the Corner
Grill On The Corner’s website lists a whole host of Glasgow’s cultural achievements, showing clearly the restaurant’s love and admiration for the city, but with the freshly prepared grilled likes of Kobe beef, Ostrich fillet and Spatchcock poussin on the menu, Glasgow might just be about to return the admiration to this newly opened venue. It’s a restaurant for those who take their food seriously, head chef Adrian Kavanha creating elegant steakhouse cuisine over a unique charcoal pit, utilising live flames and intense heat to recreate the barbeque taste indoors. There’s a healthy obsession with freshness, fish from the day’s catch hanging on display and lobsters available for selection straight from the tank, all to be enjoyed in a lively yet unimposing setting.

The Grill on the Corner is worth trying...maybe I picked a bad night,. The main drawback for me was the noise level . I'm certain it was at a level that would be harmful to hearing... and that was just the racket from the diners. One of the staff at the service area of the kitchen topped even that with a wail that would rival any self respecting banshee. All in all a bit of a comedy special. The food was good though and the waiter, a Frenchman, was excellent. Top marks to staff!Review
It was our first visit to Grill on the Corner, Glasgow. Overall we had a great time. Had to wait 20 min for our table but didn't mind as the live music and great cocktail list at the bar kept us busy. Service couln't be faulted and food was great with a great selection. The only complaint was that the toilets were a bit far and having to climb down a large flight of stairs after a few wines is a bit scary!!Review
