Celebrated our first wedding anniversary with a meal at Giovanni's restaurant in Whitstable. Lovely place. Like stepping back in time to the 70's. Food and service both very good and they are flexible if you didn't want something included in the sauce. Nice relaxed atmosphere. Would definitely recommend it.

Giovannis is just like Italian Restaurants used to be. Service is friendly but a bit slow. The decor is a bit tired but that kind of makes the atmosphere. Specials were good especially the homecured Gravad Lax. Might be better if they cut down the size of the menu.

Giovannis Restaurant, is really worth a trip, the food is fantastic, plentiful, delicious, and with a large choice. The service is both good and friendly. We would certainly return!

Enjoyed a nice meal at Giovanni's. The food was ok but not great value for money. I think if you order the pasta its a much better deal! Ambience was good as was the service - very friendly!

Restaurant was very empty for a saturday evening 8pm. Was greeted immediately on arrival via carpark. very pleasant manner. was shown the specials; Skate is excellent. King Prawn starter with pancetta wrapped around them. The tomato based sauce did kind of conceal the flavour of the prawns but would certainly chose again. Decor could do with a change, although very clean, I did feel I had gone back to the 80's again. Worth a visit !!

Giovanni's is a great Italian - one of the best we've been to. Old fashion service with a smile and food to die for. We had the chicken livers and mushrooms to start followed by the pasta with seafood - bellissimo. We couldn't fit in dessert but they sure did look good.
