Gilgamesh was lovely, however service was patchy. The food was excellent but we were charged for one extra meal. This mistake was immediately rectified.

Had a great meal at Gilgamesh last night. Some of the best asian food I have eaten in London. Slightly out of synch with the area it is in but I guess that adds to the charm of the place

Our trip to Gilgamesh took advantage of their 50% off a £30 set menu deal. Rather than a just a choice of starter and main from the menu, the dinner included servings of ALL the items, so we were presented with a very generous amount of generally very tasty dishes. Service however was spotty. The waiter was friendly but slow and clueless about the menu and our server did not appear to speak English at all. Our cocktails were also uncharacteristically weak for Gilgamesh. Overall good.

Gilgamesh is an excellent venue set amongst the market detritus that is camden lock. Once you enter you are transported to another world. Golgamesh has to be one of the best venues I have been to, and stands alongside any five star venue I have seen. The meal was great value, and the service was friendly. I sometimes feel that the staff are a bit disinterested, but this could be due to the size of the place. On arrival the door staff were pretty clueless, but the food more than made up for this.

My husband and I ate at Gilgamesh last night and had a thoroughly enjoyable evening. The place looks great, food was lovely, especially the thai chicken curry. I thought the service was a bit of a let down (had to wipe down my own fifthy table between main course and dessert - we had the set menu option and so were sharing dishes and it gets messy! And then waited an age for the bill after asking for it) The 50% off deal made this expensive place affordable otherwise I would have felt ripped of

With a 7pm booking, we felt like we had arrived very early as the restaurant was nearly empty, with so many seats we thought it would never fill up, but it did! By 8pm it was busy. The staff were attentive and prompt the food was mixed, more like a taster menu. It is a beautifully designed restaurant that seems to manage very well with a high number of tables. The deal we had was well worth the price.

Gilgamesh has become one of our favourite places to dine - the bar and other areas really make you feel like you have had an experience. Food excellent as usual and the portions again sufficient for hungry adults so we didn't make the mistake of overordering. Not a quiet restaurant so highly recommended for celebrations.

Gilgamesh was definitely an experience. From the entrance (with escalators) and the attention to detail with the decor to the simple yet tantalising food. We originally were supposed to dine on the 50% off offer, but decided the set menu was too limiting and decided to venture onto the a-la carte menu. We chose the duck and watermelon salad which really works!). And for mains we went for the lamb dish, seabass and the prawns - all of which were delicious! Final bill was pricey, but worth it

We went to Gilgamesh the day after New Years. It was fairly quiet and not all sections of the restaurant were open so we couldnt enjoy the lounge but then again I understand on this day of the year. The food was great, especially the sushi was fabulous!
