Gee's provided an excellent dining experience for me and my wife on our anniversary. Everything about the food (from selection to presentation to the all-important taste) was impeccable. The service was far above average, though occasionally finding the waiter/waitress can be a little difficult (probably due to the popularity ... and thus, busy-ness ... of the restaurant). Additionally, the seating can be a little cramped. Otherwise, this is an incredible restaurant, which I highly recommend.

Our main reason for going to Gee's was to see the live jazz on Sunday night. And we were not disappointed, jazz was great. Combined with a lovely elegant, romantic atmosphere, good food and service, a great evening out. Only disappointment was the sticky toffee pudding that stuck to the roof of your mouth in an unpleasant way.

The large conservatory was an attractive setting and puts Gees on the map for its ambience. Service was prompt and attentive throughout. The menu was a bit limited and while the food was attractively presented there was nothing outstanding to remark on. After such hearty main courses we were disappointed that the desert options did not offer something lighter, perhaps a lemon cream tart or a signature sorbet dish with a twist. Overall a very pleasant afternoon and would recommend to friends.
