About Gazette
Battersea welcomes a new addition to its restaurant scene in the shape of Gazette, a French inspired brasserie packed to the rafters with style. If you’ve ever visited a traditional French village cafe you’ll know what you’re in for here – a warm welcome, warm surroundings and, naturellement, food to die for. The characterful restaurant brings together Continental charm and the English sense of style, boasting a 1930s antique counter imported from Lille, solid oak floors, gorgeous chandeliers and a Menhir stone from Paimpol. Come summer time step outside for Thames-view dining or curl up on a leather sofa and read today’s papers as the days get shorter. Based on provincial cooking the menu changes with the seasons to bring you some of the very finest French cuisine in South London.

Another amazing meal! Although no frogs legs risotto this time, the steaks were amazing. The sirlion steak was very good, by the steak shared by two is divine!Review
Gazette has all the ingredients - nice welcome, atmospheric, charming host, good menu, great wine list, etc. But for us - a birthday dinner for 4 - it was a very disappointing evening. Service was pkeasnt but inept, but worst was we had toi wait an hour and a quarter between entrees and main course. When it arrived our meals were cold and had been left to stew in spite of us chasing them. The staff were not overly worried about our concern here and needed constant chasing for refills, etc...Review
Gazette was a relaxed very nouveau French brasserie where we enjoyed a great Sunday lunch. Our steaks were excellent, succulent and very flavoursome and service and ambience all nicely fell into place. Highly recommended.Visitors
