I took 3 clients to the Goucho City on Mon evening, we all had a great time, we were not rushed at all, service was brilliant, my clients really did enjoy our evening. The service from all the staff was impecable and I would definately recomend.

Gaucho - City, it was early (5.30) but quite a few people eating. Waiter was a little grumpy, food was good, but 2 main courses and a shared dessert (with wine) still racked up to £70 - a bit steep for steak and chips.

Gaucho in the City is popular, and well known for its beef. The steaks are excellent and the service good. The portions are so large, starters are inadvisable! We just had steak and both thoroughly enjoyed our different cuts. The vegetables are a little overpriced but good. Definitely worth another visit.

I have been to Gaucho at Canary Wharf and had heard the city restaurant was not as good. Whilst the ambience is totally different (much sleeker and buzzy) the food was jsut as good. We had a lovely meal, and the wine was good. Service was great, and we were not rushed, were left to finish ourr drinks quietly after the meal, no pushing us for the bill etc!Only down point is that the womens loo is black with little lighting, not good for readjusting make-up...great evening, will definately return!

A group of friends and I visited Gaucho in the City last Friday. The service we recieved from our waitress on the night was fantastic from the moment we arrived to moment we left. We had a few characters on the table and she managed to keep up the banter all night. The food was fantastic too! We had people who suffer with allergies to various foods and the waitress know exactely what we should order. The wine was also good if on the pricey side. All in all a brilliant place to eat.

In my experience, Gaucho steaks are among the best in London. They are consistently excellent. The City branch has the same low lighting and cow-hide furnishings as the Chancery Lane branch, but (on the Friday that we went) had the advantage of being slightly quieter. A great dinner.

Gaucho - City is located in the basement of the building with no windows. The staff were delightful and provided great service. The food is all about the meat and is cooked as ordered, if anyone in your party is a "I'll have the chicken" or squish about where meat comes from....... leave them at home. Overall its an excellent food but not great value for money.

I needed somewhere to satisfy a man. Gaucho, with their range of delicious steaks was perfect. Service was attentive, they even brought a selection of uncooked steaks to the table to explain how they were marinated and the best way to have them cooked. The walls are covered in cowhide which seems a little cruel whilest you dine. The lighting is very low but provides an intimate feeling. Good food for girls, boys and gauchos
