The Garden Restaurant at the Royal Adelaide Hotel in Windsor has a near-perfect location just five minutes’ from Windsor Castle, the Thames and the town centre. The Garden Restaurant is a pleasant enough venue for Sunday lunch but the ambience was not great. This may have been because it was mid November and we were the only people in the restaurant.

I dined here at lunchtime on Boxing day with my husdband, inlaws and 2 young children. My first impression was that this was quite an old fashioned and traditional restaurant/hotel(a coach full of guests were leaving on our arrival). The location was good, central, but peaceful, with pleasant views. The waiter was friendly, and helpful and offered us a good childrens menu to browse. We were, like the other reviewer the only customers in the restaurant though.
