Fowey Hotel Restaurant is situated on a hill overlooking the harbour. Two minor criticisms firstly a draft coming from harbour view windows (sash style) (February visit) and car parking not huge. Service was excellent with staff attentive throughout. Food wonderful. Bar well stocked and wines excellent selection. On leaving doors opened for us and we felt like Royalty and treated as such

We have enjoyed the food, service and longe. Only one tiny minus was the parking facilities- can be improved. Perfect view from window as well:) I wil come back and suggest others to go.

Beautiful views over Fowey from the restaurant, superb food and good wine. Would highly reccommend and would certainly eat there again. Service was a little slow but it didnt ruin the meal, just gave us more time to appreciate the views over the river!

The Fowey Hotel Restaurant is a classy-feeling place with a large selection of well-prepared food. Some elements were excellent, others just pleasant.

Returned to the Fowey Hotel to take part in their £35 5 course evening meal. Service was better this time. Mushroom risotto we both agreed was a excellent dish. Duck main, and chocolate/banana dessert also well done. Beef was a good piece with a very nice reduction, but probably not worth the additional charge. As before, getting there early for 7pm gained us window seats with excellent views over the harbour. The restaurant was quiet again (40% full?), but worth booking for regatta.

Visited Fowey Hotel for £35 /5 courses offer. This is cheaper if staying in hotel; we couldn't get a room! We arrived early and were repeatedly asked to order when not ready; this likely due to staff urgency to get our order through before a large party which arrived shortly afterwards. Food was very good; goats cheese starter especially. Wine list is broad and has a good selection of £15-£20 and above.(found 7 reviews)
