About Four Seasons

Coming up to its 40th birthday, The Four Seasons is Surrey’s oldest family-run restaurant, set in the bustling high street of Chobham just outside Woking. Fresh meat and veg arrive daily from the main markets of London and fish is brought in every day from the coast. Begin with pâté with red onion jam and warm petit pains, or Maryland crab cakes with lemon and dill mayonnaise. If you’re on for some haute cuisine try the venison steeped with ruby port, brandy and redcurrant sauce, or for something simpler there’s a classic skate wing in brown butter with vinegar, capers and parsley. Finish with chargrilled pineapple with caramel and coriander sauce and coconut sorbet. There’s also a generous selection of around twenty daily specials, and with a list of over 150 different wines it should be easy to find something to go with all of them.

Opening hours:
Mon: 7pm - 10pmTues - Sat: 12pm - 2pm & 7pm - 10pmSun: Closed

We had Christmas luncha t the Four Seasons in Chobham. It was packed and so we got off to a bad start having nowhere big enough for us to sit in the bar even though we arrived exactly on time for our table. They wouldn't take our coats for about 10 minutes while they sorted out which table we were on and people kept pushing past and knocking them over. After an aperitif we sat down and things were better from there on in. The food was fine although perhaps not as good as it usually is.

Another lovely meal at the Four Seasons. This family-run restaurant is ideal for a family occasion with good service and consistently good food. I say occasion as it is a little on the expensive side but worth it. It would however be good if they could advise the price upfront of their specials.

Lovely welcome and nice ambience. We sat down to a small seated area and given olives whilst we waited. Chose from the menu and verbal specials whilst seated in the waiting area. Once seated at our table, we didn't have long to wait for our meal. Both myself and my friend had the Portugeuse sardines to start, which were lovely and succulent. I followed this with pork loin stuffed with figs and topped with parma ham, which came with parsnip slivers/chips, and a lovely rich sauce. Highly recommend
