Four O Nine offered quality food with a pleasing wine list, all reasonably priced. Ambience lacking only on the basis that we were very few people in the restaurant - owing to it being straight after christmas. Service very friendly and attentive. Would recommend.

The food was excellent with delicous flavours in every dish. Cool decor and good layout, although was a little cold. A worthy addition of a top restaurant to Clapham.

Four 0 nine whilst the restaurant is well hidden, it is certainly worth looking for. The service was fantastic with god recommendations on both food and wine. The restaurant is very tastefully decorated and evrything seems to complete each other from the wine list to the staff to the menu. We will definitely be back.

The Four o nine has to be one of London's best restaurant. It comes across well on top table, but actually when you arrive, you'll still be amazed at how friendly the staff and how unpretentious it is. Other diners were just as friendly. It has to also be one of the most romantic meals with delicious tasty food. I think the Four o nine has acquired 2 regulars!!! Superb!

Four o Nine in Clapham is excellent. The food and service is very good. It was however a big draughty and you have to watch the step at the bar! However overall it is highly recommended

You certainly wouldn't find this by walking-by which may add to its chic. Certainly a good find Menu was excellent, liked the fact that it contained very few dishes assuring quality food from what was on offer. The only real dissappointment was that the wine was over priced or should offer more medium cost selection. Service was very polite and courteous but a few occasions of dropping cutlery might reveal a level of inexperience.

The best kept secret in South London is not easy to find & indeed the Four o nine in Clapham has the smallest sign I've ever seen! However, once inside it was a very enjoyable experience with a stylish, cosy atmosphere. The food, although very slow coming for some reason, was outstanding & I would highly recommend it! The pate, pork belly & duck breast were all delicious. The Top Table offer made it much more affordable. I'll definitely go back!
