About Fortune
Fortune restaurant in West Kensington is a lively place where the cooking is
Oriental and the vibe contemporary, with bamboo screens and glowing shades
of red creating a good Oriental feel. Start with salt and chilli squid or
crispy duck rolls, then choose from the likes of satay king prawn, Thai red
chicken curry, shredded chilli beef or one of the signature sizzling plates
like lamb in black bean sauce. You'll also get great-value set meals, top
dim sum, wicked cocktails and the chance of some karaoke - so go and seek
your Fortune on the Cromwell Road.

Our visit to Fortune restaurant on New Years Eve was enjoyable. We were sorry to note that only a few other tables chose to join us, particularly as the food was excellent and the service more attentive and timely than in the past. We feel the restaurant deserves another chance - maybe a special offer is needed to attract people - if not I'd certainly recommend the take away collection and delivery service.

I am not sure if we went on a bad night to Fortune but I wasn't that impressed. The food was very english Chinese, as was all the tables being laid with knives and forks but maybe if you haven't had anything different or want englishy chinese this would be a good place to come after a few drinks. Considering it wasn't that busy the service was slow as was the food but they did apologise to us before we left so...Review
Fortune isn't the greatest restaurant, everything was just ok. I only went there because it was the nearest restaurant to where I can meet all my friends.Visitors
