This is the third time I,ve been to Food for Friends and I've always found the menu one of the most interesting and varied vegetarian menus I've come across. The food is always to a high standard and service is friendly and efficient. The restaurant is starting to look a little tired but looks homely rather than shabby. Brilliant winter warmer cocktails.

Our lunch at food for friends was fantastic. Although my partner and I aren't veggies, the friends we had visiting were, so we decided to take them there as a treat. If I'm honest, i expected to like it but feel there was something missing (ie meat/ fish) but i could not have enjoyed it more. We dined on the 2 courses for £9.95 menu which was a nice surpise when we got there, and excellent value for money. The service was relaxed and leisurely which was perfect for catching up with friends.

As a carnivore living in a veggie household meals out are a rare opportunity to eat meat so it has to be a pretty good veggie restaurant to tempt me in. Food for Friends has never failed to deliver high quality tasty food which I enjoy. My vegan husband loves it too. The tiramau profiteroles last night were gorgeous. It is not cheap although the reasonably priced proper meals for under 12s help but it is worth every penny. The only down side - it can be a bit chilly so take a cardigan.

We arrived during the lilght festival parade and had excellent views, the staff were amazing, so friendly and professional. The food divine, we shared the fafafel platter and left a clean plate it was so moorish, my partner went for the stirfry being the sensible one, however I went for the Cashew Curry and it was the best curry by far I have ever tried. We loved it so much we are back for lunch today!!!! Keep up the good work.

As ever Food For Friends didn't disappoint, I'd recommend it to anyone whether they're vegetarian or not! The food is always really tasty, I can't wait to go back!!
