About Filini Restaurant - Liverpool
The award-winning Filini is part of the striking Radisson SAS Hotel Liverpool, towering above the River Mersey in the city’s business district. At weekends, it gets especially busy with young local professionals living in the surrounding new apartments. Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner, it’s an airy, modern, space that makes attractive use of glossy wood, glass and modern art. Generally thought of as excellent, the food is Italian with a Sardinian bent, with fine starters including crab and spaghetti in a light Soave cream sauce, followed by such accomplished mains as fillet of beef with Speck, Pecorino and truffle sauce, and slow-braised veal with white beans and creamed polenta. For the very hungry, there’s pizza and gutsy desserts. Excellent value lunch for £9.95 (one main course; includes a glass of house wine, mineral water and a soft drink)

Review
Well, warmly lit restaurant, with much carpentry detailing. There is a choice of booth or table although the tables seemed too narrow to enjoy your meal. Service very friendly and welcoming. The food itself was very well prepared and presented, although the veal was unavailable despite there only being four people in the restaurant. Only let down by a poor choice of Ikeaesque cuttlery and glassware, which was of poor quality. Wine list included some solid Italian wines, reasonably priced.

Excellent interior at the Fillini restaurant in Liverpool. Food was nice but nothing out of the ordinary. However the portions were huge and I thought the restaurant was excellent value for money. Really nice venue and well worth a visit.Review
