About Feng Wei
Handily located just off the biggest shopping street in the country, it’s rare to find a family-owned restaurant like this in somewhere so central. Feng Wei, just off Oxford Street, offers hearty Chinese cooking from all four main regional cuisines – it isn’t a consequence that the name could be translated as ‘The Four Corners’ – expertly overseen by experienced, specialist head chef David Peng. Set menus offer bargains at lunchtimes, adding to its reputation as one of London’s best kept secret restaurants when it comes to Chinese food – a reputation which has a loyal following to go along with it. Jumping on this bandwagon shan’t be frowned upon however, least of all by the friendly staff in this restaurant, draped in artful Chinese décor.

The restaurant staff at Feng Wei were very attentive and efficient. Food was fresh and served in substantial proportions. Overall a nice restaurant.Review
I love my Chinese and was pleased to find a decent one not in Chinatown. We ate early so it was quiet and the staff were attentive but not too much. Food was lovely, especially the seaweed! It wasn't the most amazing Chinese I've ever been too, but it was certainly up there at the top!Review
Feng Wei is a fab restaurant my team and I eat there a lot. They are courteous and the food is always well prepared. Prices are reasonable and they often throw in an additonal fruit plate as a desert if you are seen as a regular which is most welcome.Visitors
