About Eden
Eden restaurant in Harpenden is a modern Oriental restaurant that offers a Far Eastern menu at lunchtime, then focuses on Chinese food by night. For lunch, try the noodle-rich Malaysian laksa followed by a zingy Thai green chicken curry. In the evening, the food ranges from Peking and Szechwan to Cantonese. Start with sautéed king prawns with garlic and chilli or aromatic lamb with plum sauce, then try the steamed sea bass or Szechwan double-cooked pork, with some veg in satay sauce on the side. Vegetarians are well looked after, to the point of having their own set menu. And this being Eden, you shouldn’t leave without a bite of the (toffee) apple.
Please there there is a non refundable deposit for large groups.

I was pleasantly surprised by the exceptional quality Eden provided.The food was fresh and of high quality,served in a relaxed and sophisticated atmosphere.I would definitely recommend this restaurant

We were the only ones in Eden at lunchtime and were suspicious that we had made a terrible decision for lunch. But food was good, service ok, good lunchtime menu - although suspect it was empty because this is more a 'dinner' restaurant. Will come back.Review
We found the food and service excellent. Sadly the restaurant was empty even though when we went on Toptable we were told we couldn't increase the size of our party as there was no room!Visitors
