The restaurant was very empty but this is understandable so soon after new year. I like the ambience of this place, a good place to have a drink with some decent music and a nice bar area. The food was pretty good too and overall decent value for money. i would go back.

We booked Drift for 8 of us for our team Christmas lunch. We arrived at about 7.30 and were qutie disappointed the restaurant was virtually empty, with little atmosphere...there wasn't even any background music! They did however put on some music for us and the place filled up a little after a while. Apart from the above, everything else was excellent. The food was great, and arrived promtly. The wine list was also very good. Service was very good, and to top it off the waitress was v hot!

Saturday for lunch. Very quiet which meant we got excellent service. The waitress was very attentive and polite. The decor was lovely. Made an otherwise miserable day (weather wise) seem a distant thing. The food was very tasty but I dont think there was enough for the vegetarian palate. I would recommend.

Drift's bar area was lively, with great music and good ambience. The dining area was in the back and away from the bar (good) but our party of 4 was seated adjacent to a corporate party of 20+ who were very rowdy. We found ourselves yelling in order to converse. Due to the 20+ party, our service was slow. Food was good - the BBQ prawns were delicious.

Drift is a great place to meet with friends as it is a bar and restaurant in one venue. The food was good (prawn dumplings were a bit sticky though) and lots to select from on the menu. Staff were attentive. Did lack some atmosphere as it is a large venue with no music in the restaurent. Overall I would go back and will recommend to others as a good value place with nice food.

I cannot sing enouge praises for Drift. The food was superb, because there is such an extensive menu there is a dish to suit everyone, my friend had the Penang curry, best she has ever and and I had the sweet and sour pork with fried rice, wonderful. The service was quick and friendly, but we were not rushed. Will certainly be returning.

The 2 of us doubled the customers dining at Drift, so not much atmosphere! Starters were fab so our expectations were high, but the mains and the puds were disappointing. The Pad Thai tasted stale, as though it had been made much earlier, and the "dark chocolate tear drop" was made of milk and white! Our server was lovely, and v apologetic - that dessert has changed but the menu description hasn't and she'd forgotten to tell us. Probably won't go again.

We love Drift but on this occasion, we had to send food back to the kitchen because it was poorly made. We will still go back and give it another chance though.
Eg. italian, Ritz, Benitos, meatballs...
